Doncaster Microscopical and General scientific Society
The first meeting for the session of the above society was held at the County Court Room, Guild Hall on Wednesday evening, November 12th, Mr. J. G. Walker, president, in the chair.
The minutes of the previous (general) meeting having been read and confirmed, the following gentlemen were elected members of the society.
The Rev. G. P. Haydon, Mr. H. Culpin, and Mr. W. D. Watson
The committee resolved itself into a conversazione, and a pleasant hour was spent in examining a variety of exhibits furnished by the members and consisting of objects shown under the microscope, photographs, and other interesting contributions.
