Lime Kiln Lane, Stainton near Tickhill.

The hedge along the lane contains many native species and is perhaps the richest hedgerow in the district. The field is on the other side of the lane. I noticed the un-even ground and wondered what the reason was. Perhaps quarrying or ancient settlement?  Ian.
