Here is a message from Nora about the meeting on Thursday and a copy of the risk assessment for the meeting from the Friends of Dunsville Quarry Park who are leading it.

The meeting on the 12th of June with Friends of Dunsville Quarry Park will start at 10.30 am and last for approximately 2 hours.  Meet in the car park at the end of St Mary’s Rd DN74DQ.The intention is to divide into two groups, should the numbers dictate, with a maximum of 10 members of FDQP in each group.  A member of FDQP will  lead each group and  our members will divide up so that each group has some of Doncaster Naturalists to  accompany them. During the walk our members will share  knowledge of anything they observe on the day with the FDQP and the FDQP will share background info with the Naturalists, thus benefitting each group.

It is suggested that normal walking boots are sufficient. There are no onsite facilities and you may want to bring your own water.

For your benefit here is a map of the site.

Please take photographs of findings to send to FDQP for their records.”

Please send your records/photos to Nora for her report.

Best Wishes

Margaret Prior
